Day 1

⭐ For Art’s Sake

If you’re looking for a fun place to take photos with family and friends, For Art’s Sake, a 4D photo gallery on Phetkasem Road about 15-20 minutes from Hua Hin town, is the place to go. The museum features more than 100 large 4D photos for visitors to star in. Consult the museum staff to make the most of your time in case you’re not sure how to shoot a fun shot.

⭐ Hua Hin Beach

Bursting with outdoor activities for all family members, Hua Hin Beach is the locals’ favourite hang-out. Among the popular activities you can try are kayaking, kite boarding, SUP boarding, and horse riding.

⭐ Khao Takhiap

The location of a temple with a large standing Buddha statue and a viewpoint from which to admire Hua Hin Beach, Khao Takhiap is also a good place to find a cluster of tasty seafood restaurants. Don’t miss it!

⭐ Kundrol Dechen Ling, a Tibetan Buddhist retreat centre by the Thousand Stars Foundation

Apart from being a retreat centre in the Tibetan Bon Buddhist tradition, Kundrol Dechen Ling also serves as a place for learning about Tibetan art and culture. It is now the site of the 73-metre high Kundrol Dechen Great Stupa for Peace and Harmony.

Due to COVID-19, the centre is still closed, so please check with its Facebook page for any updates or activities at

⭐ Khao Hin Lek Fai Viewpoint

The hill top viewpoint is part of a public park where you can climb up to enjoy a 360- degree view of Hua Hin town. Locals come for a picnic and exercise in the park. There are 6 spots from where you can take in the view, but No. 5 has the broadest view of the city. Beware of wild monkeys while enjoying the scenery. 🐒

⭐ Tamarind Market

From Friday to Sunday, get ready for a food adventure at Tamarind market. There are all kinds of dishes imaginable from countless stalls set up twice a day: early morning and evening.

  • 📍 Soi Hua Hin 87, Tambon Nong Kae, Amphoe Hua Hin, Prachuap Khiri Khan

Day 2

Offer alms to monks on Hua Hin Beach Those who rise early to enjoy the morning breeze on the beach can offer alms to monks for an auspicious beginning to the day. These are the locations you can choose to wait for the monks on their daily alms round:

Jek Piek coffee shop, a legendary food shop of Hua Hin, has been in business for more than 70 years. The 2-storey wooden shop house is part of this seaside resort’s enduring charm. You can stop by for a Thai-style breakfast or many other dishes; such as, Khao Man Kai, chicken and rice, and Khao Mu Dang, red pork with rice.

Pran Buri district is about 25 kilometres south of Hua Hin. It is known for its serene beaches, friendly residents, a range of stylish accommodation and, of course, good seafood restaurants.

Pran Buri Forest Park is a coastal green area mostly covered with mangrove. Its major draw is the elevated trail over the forest. Strolling on the kilometre-long boardwalk is highly recommended. There is also a bicycle lane and camping grounds. Don’t miss climbing the tower to marvel a bird’s-eye view of the entire area!

When it comes to seafood, the Pran Buri beachfront is where you can find many good restaurants and among them is the long-running OX Seafood. Their ingredients are fresh and the spicy dip sauce is divine.

  • 📍 Pak Nam Pran Road, Tambon Pak Nam Pran, Amphoe Pran Buri, Prachuap Khiri Khan
  • ⏰ Open daily from 10:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m.

What we particularly admire about the Pran Buri beachfront is its cleanliness and tidiness. You won’t find any umbrellas or deckchairs on the public space. In the morning, it’s very pleasant to run or walk on the walkway.

Food stalls will be set up only in the late afternoon for visitors and residents to enjoy a picnic with a sea view. The vendors and their customers help clean up after having a good time.
